Durikai, Talgai, Thanes creek (Qld) Queensland information and questions

Thanks guys. I think the next time I go Ill do as you suggest and just head much deeper into the forest. With any luck I wont get scratched up too bad or attacked by yowies or hunted by inbred mountain people. Realistically Im far more concerned with getting lost in there. Unless you folks are...

Durikai, Talgai, Thanes creek (Qld) Queensland information and questions

Yeah Ive been on their property a few times to break things up a bit. Just the usual lead shot and smashed bullets so far but its a big place and Ive only sampled a few small areas. Nice property and a lot of fun for the 4wd but the entry cost is a bit prohibitive to go regularly :)

I cant tell if Im doing something wrong with the detector, looking in the wrong areas or maybe the gold is all too deep to access. Maybe the...

Minelab Equinox 800 use on gold - Tips, settings and questions

Ive got fairly heavily mineralised ground here in Warwick and it actually does pretty well I was surprised. I think it gives slightly better depth than the monster too... Shame about the coil size but I do appreciate its an all rounder. Im hoping for an elliptical coil soon.

The gold monster 1000 VS the SDC2300 from someone who owns both

Ok ok i think maybe I didnt get my point across that well. I am certainly not going to bin the SDC. The point I was trying to make was that the monster isnt terrible like all the videos online suggest, nor is the SDC the sure thing that its online reputation seems to suggest. Either way I AM...
