Yes no probs mate. Standard 11 inch coil sensitivity 7, difficult on a creek edge so the hole was actually submerged once I dug it. I basically grabbed handfuls of rock and muddy sludge and kept swiping over the coil untill it pinged, took a while and also found rusty crap a metre either side.I was expecting rust so was excited to see the quartz change the threshold for once. Hole underwater was aprox 250 mm from water level, nice mellow sound not like the rust that blanks easily. After an sg test aprox gold content is 3.4 g from my calcs. I’ll alibrite it tomoz and post an after pic once cleaned. I’m praying that black film of rocky substance disappears that’s obscuring the gold layer. Still stoked as!

Thanks mate. Been avoiding creek beds a lot. I'll have to try again lol

Your way experienced than me mate. Bit of luck I walked over it I just dig every signal gotta win once in a while. I’ve done 8 trips so far but I’m a persistent bugger lol. Cheers
lol...I'm hardly more experienced. That's why I got the 6000. Plug and pray. And you are doing the right thing digging everything.
Once I get on to ground with a lot of rubbish I run. 🏃‍♂️

Here's an idea, how about you plant a few of your veggies there to keep you interested 😅 there's a million reasons why my suggestion won't work but 😊🍻

The 12x7 Xceed got its first run this morning. Unfortunately the gold was hiding today and we struggled to find many targets. My mate was running the Coiltek 10x5 and we wanted to see how the coils compared in the field. Initial results were as you would expect. The smaller coil produced a shorter, crisper signal on two of the 3 pieces of gold that we found and the larger coil showed good depth on one piece. There was very little between them performance wise. We were working in some benign ground and I was able to run the 12x7 in normal, auto + with threshold on. The coil was lovely and quiet and never played up at all. This is not something that we experience all that often so it was a morning to savour. All targets were tested on a range of settings for our own reference. Here is the first piece that the Xceed turned up.

It was only small but it was pulled from a reasonable depth.
