G'day all, early (forced) retirement has afforded the time to pursue hobbies I wasn't sure I'd be able to. I have always had a keen interest in fossicking, gems, and lapidary and therefore would like to get more into this world.
Truth be told, I'm not great with groups and people due to some mental health issues my military career left me with so joining a club will happen, but hopefully with some smaller gatherings.
My question, apart from forums such as this and local clubs to learn from, is there any recommended reading, lapidary bibles if you will, that I should endevour to read?
Any info greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Troy

Wow, love the DIY flat lap LoneWolf, what ingenuity. To get a lap of that size= $1000's!🤑🤑
Your laughing hahaa.😁👍
Edit: I'm guessing your water system is a seperate unit you attach? Either way, love your work.

Thanks... Yes I was very lucky finding a round plate like that and un-warped as well...
Water just mounts on a small pole and away i go... :)

Best thing i have found is that the Missus can sit opposite and 'play' as well... Win Win..
