Think I was having hearing problems today.
Lots of wet red clay.
Found this bit in my own scrape on the way back to the car 😆.
Some nice pieces from davent and 20xwater.
But just cause your "bits" are bigger than mine, I'm not embarrassed to show. 😁

Remember that little patch we had fun with your 6, both bits directly on the opposite side of the road again 🤣
 
Correction, I just measured my scoop and figured out from the video that 0.4g was around 8 - 9 inches, definitely going back over ground I've flogged with the 12".

Small specimen, gold in quartz found with sdc 2300 hired from the very nice people at Coiltek Maryborough last Sunday in the gt victoria. Nothing to boast about, the whole thing is maybe 1 cm long and might contain less than .1g but I’m happy. In the second picture you can see that the quartz is all broken but held together by gold. Found a tiny round water worn bit nearby. Size of a grain of sand.
