Busy morning, done the shopping, put a pea and ham soup in the slow cooker, 12 hour cook. Got a chicken an veg soup on the stove bubbling away. Cooked and packed up 3 meals of potato and leek soup with bacon bits plus made a mushroom soup for tea tonight.
I use a pressure cooker for soups and stews including pea and ham-takes 50 mins all up.

Yes Mate i couldn't agree more. My wife mad a Ham Hock and veggie soup the other day and we got 6 meals out of it, fantastic. I do love soup and Pea and Ham are up there with the best. Add a Cob Loaf and you can't get better.

Just tripped over a dog toy in the loungeroom and slammed my head and left shoulerblade against the entrance wall and landed on the dog bed. Amazing how these little incidences occur out of no where. Everything seems to be ok. Tis good that I'm of a solid build -bloody idiot.!!!!!!

Hydraulic ram snapped, it was allready cracked so it's not my fault (again).
@20xwater mate from that photo it was halfway through the knuckle anyway??
Me being a bushie, I would have least put a big mob of weld on it or gaffa tape and no.9 fencing wire!!
Might have even got the dig finished by smoko???
