    Wind turbines

Cut them up and bury them after20 years..? I call bs on that. They are just a turbine like they use in the Kiewa and Snowy hydro scheme only above ground Those turbines were installed back in the 1950s and sit there underground producing power. Wind turbines will be the same only above ground...

Warwick Farm NSW - Old Army staging camp

Only around the Sydney area but not all of it ? But luckily l live in Sydney ? Its a fantastic resource for seeing what was there in 1943 compared to now. My son and myself have been using it for the last 6 months or so with great success

Not a total newbie from Sydney

Get the equinox 800. You wont be disappointed. Takes the worry out of getting it wet, if you were using the 540 it will be in the back of your mind and becomes a distraction which you dont need My son and myself have been detecting different parks in Sydney and cleaning up with the 800

    Cleaning Coins Another Way ....

Phosphoric acid is used in some etch primers. It can/will etch metal. A guy l worked with years ago said hed show me how to clean a bicycle chain. He threw it in a bucket of phosphoric acid, the next day it was a black sludge in the bottom

    Snake sightings, encounters and reminders.

I saw a tiger snake lying in frost with a half grown rabbit halfway down its throat in the Kiewa valley. I can just picture you smuggly walking through snakes with your waders on and walking into the water and discover youve got fang holes

    Spider ID

I was digging an old bottle dump in Queersland many years ago when l felt something under my pants crawling up my leg. My dacks have never hit the ground any quicker than they did that day, and it was a bloody huge centipede about 10 to 12 long.
