This is great information. I suppose the old rule if you can't touch it and test it don't buy it. I have seen some bad scams recently for metal detectors also. Worth keeping in mind if you see a to good to be true deal.

Welcome seeking and digging. Good luck prospecting. Don't forget, just like gold, you need to prospect the best areas to treasure hunt. Sometimes old newspaper clippings can provide hints on places people used to gather. (Old racetrack, military hospitals, markets, etc)
