I started on enclosing mine in a Pelican case but never finished it. The ATX came along and removed the need. I gave up on White's ever doing a waterproof TDI. They came oh so very close it seems and then it just never happened. Unfortunate.

The Racer and FORS models sense whether the correct coil is being used and display an error message if not. In other words, you can only use the coils made specifically for the machine. Nokta is considering a 5 x 10 coil for the FORS models.

Hello Ronnie, T2 is an excellent machine, very popular early in the African gold rush. As deep in all metal as any VLF made. As you mention the extra features on the F75 really add nothing for prospecting. I hope you find a monster nugget with it!

From what I hear it is a good pinpointer. Looks like Makro is going to make waves in the U.S. with their new consumer style detectors, the Makro racer and Makro Gold Racer. I am in line to get a Gold Racer as soon as they can be had.

Thanks for the reply duck. Not surprising - the Tejon is a finely tuned sports car. Not really made for off road (outback) use but shines on the freeways.

Hello Goldpick, I always liked the design of the Tejon. The underarm battery pack provides needed balance that makes the unit less strain to use than lighter detectors that lack such balance, like your G2 or Ace for example. The Tejon is a very hot unit so I am wondering how it is working out...
