Any suggestions for best places to stay/ detect for a few weeks .no 40e atm so only pending or crown anyone know of any stationstay style places were fully selfsufficient have happyprospector etc just never been in this area an lookn for some local advice on what areas are dodgy etc ..thanks :argh:

Hey if you email age of dinosaurs in winton they will give you an email to send photos too for identification. They did my finds recently an were really helpfull all mine were cretaias peried from a marine deposit ...hope this helps cheers.... :Y:

Hey m8 i will throw my 2cents worth in too my wife an i both detect for thelast two years .i have a minelab 4800 an my bettr half has a sdc2300 ..i rekon its a perfect combo esp as i can can pinch the little one off her every now an then to re sweep over a patch for any missed smaller pieces...

Yep yep one of the best canps for us in a long while too .all good all round gen country folk .dont see that too much anymore . Buggr bout the fuel thieves what park ? We always stay at the big 4 at charters down in the unpowerd camp area if u can jag it friday they do wood fired pizzas mmmmmm...

Dont thnk anyones been shot in a while .touch wood .. but i did speak to a few locals an there has been isues with your campsite suddenly combusting when you are not there .. dont get me wrong i dont scare off easy but its a bit hard to defend against scum bags who hide in the shadows doing crap...
