You can drink a beer and detect at the same time , check out Ebay, they sell a belt that holds 6 cans ..... just a thought.... :lol:

I use white vinegar and a bit of salt with success on silver spendables , just a thought :cool:

Sorry guys I didnt mean to start an argument, I was just gob smacked to see this guys swinging technique , nothing more. Professional OR not...

ok that would explain it then if one of the public was doing it..Im still a rookie but everything Ive been taught and read says keep the coil flat at all times whilst swinging . :cool:

Dont know if anyone watches Time Team on pay tv but I was watching it this morning and the archeological guys were using there little trowel to digging away on a 15th century grave , in the background quite clearly was another guy with a metal detector. He had a swing just like a golfer , 20 cm...

Forgive my lack of intelligence, were they in circulation ? , Ive never seen them... but in my defence I use my keycard to pay , carrying cash is almost a thing of the past , except for what the 705 sniffs out !
