Evening all.
Have tried a couple of different avenues to contact Steve (MadTuna) but to no avail (homestead number and email at the start of this thread).
Also the email and mobile provided by DMIRS but I think that just goes to the corporates in Perth or wherever - and they haven’t...
GP 3500 and Coiltek 40”x20” AI drag coil.
Currently set up as a drag unit on a ‘walk and drag’ system. Polycarbonate base has already done about 20km over rocky ground and it is in remarkable condition. Very light and very simple system. Will mostly suit salt lakes or large open flats but...
Hi Teacup,
I have owned a Gold Monster and although it is easy to use, there is almost not enough control available which XLOOX suggested also.
Have not used a 24K or Kruzer but I do see a lot of the Americans raving about the 24 K. Aureous on DP forum is an Australian who also suggests it...
Hi Nenad,
Good info 👍
Not sure if you are happy to, but could you also list those coils you tried that you wouldn't recommend?
And, just wondering why some weren't suitable? Poor performance on small gold? Did not calibrate?
Cheers, N.E.
Have you thought about waiting a month or so for some user experiences with the Algoforce and considering one of them. Brand new, new warranty, probably cheaper than an aftermarket 5000.
Just a thought 👍
Probably the first thing to work out. 8 litres per hundred km versus 14 litres per hundred will make your calculations very different.
Absolutely, but what you have on is probably going to be the best re: fuel consumption. Going chunkier, wider or a larger profile will all use more fuel 👍
And just remember that XLOOX’s example is one way. Double whatever you workout to get you home. And then add some more for moving around whilst you are over there.
What is your average fuel consumption around home? 10 litres per hundred km?
Petrol Spy is an app you can get on your phone...
Hi MB. Is that an older model? We have a Hero 7 Black (which is now at least 4 or 5 years old) and the whole thing is waterproof. The housings are just for attaching stuff these days.
Stick it in rice and see what happens but likely dead unfortunately :(
Hey Winterwood, thank you :)
I hadn't tried for about a week as it hadn't been working for several weeks and I thought they had perhaps retired the function.
All good now. Thanks again, N.E.
Afternoon members.
Just wondering if someone could please help me with a query.
If you know how to access Geoview, I am wondering if you could please try to activate the layer 'Company Surface Sample Geochemistry' under the Geochemistry and Minerology heading on the L) side layer list...
