been a bit quite with the can hunter... found a about $2 the other week in the park Went to the beach today at Paradise point near hope island gold coast QLDfor a picnic and had a swing. I dug everything in the dry sand "netted" area and cleaned out a reasonable amount of wire / ally etc but...

got all excited when i saw this in the hole near the scout park today can i claim it as a ring....... lol :o looks like off some sort of tap fitting or something might be brass / copper coated i was happy i was able to "find" it without a pinpointer an just and old screwdriver

had a swing at a little park with a scout hall as well plenty of ring pulls at the scout hall..... plenty of deep ally cans... 22 cents :) total $15.55

had a little play on Sunday for an hour at a diff park, has heaps of foot traffic maybe someone else has a swing there (highly likely) as it was low on finds $1 in coins plenty of scraps total $15.33

sweet ring, gives me hope !! today's 1hr adventure back to my local park plenty of ground in it to cover :) the ground is so dry i cannot really dig anything more than a few inchs as it just makes dust holes... we need some rain to soften it all up $3.20 Brisbane 2009 lions keyring hexagon...

3rd trip out 25/2/16 for about 1.5hrs local park / footy park 6.73 in $$$ wahooo now we are talking 1st key 1 cent coin 2 cent coin couple of deep ones popped with my screwdriver digger more ally cans..... total $11.13

2nd real trip out a old park in Hemmant nothing of value but good training I think that the park is to modern and no one pre-decimal may have been there losing coins etc and there is not enough modern traffic either

1st real trip out thought i would try the edges of the netball courts for an hour or so not sure if it's netball season and i think i should check that part out 2.20 and some random ally cans a old hair clip i also dumped some other ally in the bin there total $$ 4.40
