It may get do that on 12 volt. Means your 12 volt battery power source is low. But if you leave it on all night it should still charge detector battery, just slowly. Cheers John

Yep, I have had same issues, the battery terminals on machine and battery need to be cleaned.use that alcohol cleaner. Fixed it . Minelab will tell you machine is all ok.
