Never seen them before but a great idea, just add woollen mittens first. When fossicking at Oberon in winter, I would wear a full wet suit, and scuba gloves. Worked very well.

I remember going up the Mulgrave River with a local in search of a gold mine that he knew of but we never found a trace of it. Beautiful river and scenery. Went up in a flat bottomed punt with a Seagull motor. Great fun.

A very sad day for all Rugby League followers as Keith Barnes passed away at the age of 89. He only played for one team and never played in Reserves. He scored 11 tries, kicked 742 goals and 1 field goal for the Balmain Tigers between 1955-1968. A true gentleman. R.I.P. Keith.
