We are still alive!!! No snakes today, well, not visible anyway, no leeches and also no sapphires :o Don't think we were looking in the right places. Only new at this. Had fun trying and did get a lovely lot of blackberries :P Bumped in Jayden, who may have had more luck.

Hi everyone, We are off to Lightning Ridge next weekend to try our luck. But after arranging everything, I did some reading on here, then rang the mining department up there, to find out that you can only fossick in front of the info centre, unless you know someone with a claim. Disappointing...
