Yep, have seen old diggers holes full of all sorts of crap from nappies and tin cans to broken camp chairs etc. Always seems to be where the bikes camp out. Head down there when the rally is on, there is literally guys camped on the side of the road... no toilets there either :awful:

I've been using the same $15 ear bud headphones on the SDC for about 3 years. Easy to carry a spare pair, can buy them anywhere, cheap test if you dont like them :Y:

The way we used the 705 in the goldfields was to leave it in coin mode, and block the ferrous TID's. This helped to blank out mineralized hot spots and make it more useable. It's not perfect but it helps. As Moneybox has already suggested, I'd be leaning towards an SDC or 4500. Maybe keep an...
