Are you referring to the MXT or MXT Sport? I'm trying to decide on a beach machine and I'm a White's fan. I'm interested in people's thoughts on the MXT Sport.

Has anyone tried this Fisher Impulse AQ? I know they're releasing only 100 of the limited edition. It sounds like a poor battery life. I saw one video of a person using it at the beach in the sand, but not in the water (maybe because it's only good for a short depth in the water)...

Ridge Runner, I see the pic of your detectors. Did you or has anyone got experience with the MXT Sport? I'm trying to decided on one for the beach and have been looking at the MXT Sport versus the Beach Hunter?

I hope it is temporary and that they end up doing well and coming back strong. They make outstanding detectors! I'm a White's fan! :)

How waterproof is the control box on the Beach Hunter after the modifications? Do any modifications need to be made to the control box to ensure it doesn't leak?

What do you think of the TDI SL verus the TDI Beachunter or any other whites option? I'm looking to upgrade from my White's Surfmaster PI Pro.
