i found an old 80's or early 90's eveready AA battery at about 1ft. the thing screamed. thought i was getting lucky until i'd seen the red cylinder.
made me wonder if something was dug up there and the guy changed his batteries and threw the old ones in the hole.
just bought a NF18" mono. read u have to change the upper shaft to a fiberglass or composite.
why not the lower shaft seeing its closer to the coil? or is it both lower and upper?
i've been looking at the garrett infinium alot mainly because its PI and Multiple Frequency Technology. and i've read alot of good posts about the gold bug 2. but then the AT gold has good reviews as well as the x-terra 705.
so imo, infinium or gold bug 2?
